Welcome to the California Criminalistics Institute (CCI)
Explore CCI’s course catalog and registration system—your first step toward high-quality, hands-on forensic education. CCI proudly offers courses throughout the state of California to support the diverse needs of the forensic community.
CCI courses are open to individuals employed by:
• Government forensic laboratories
• Law enforcement agencies
• Private forensic laboratories*
Some courses include prerequisites or may be tailored for specific roles (e.g., Criminalists). All courses utilize a waitlist system. When you register, you will automatically be added to the waitlist and contacted only if selected to attend.
*A tuition fee applies to students from private forensic laboratories or institutions outside the state of California.
